DiHeSys wins the German Award for Sustainability Projects 2021

We are very pleased about the award from business, science and the media!

A great success and at the same time an incentive for us to continue on the path we have taken so far.

The German Award for Sustainability Projects 2021 will be awarded for the first time by the German Institute for Service Quality, the news channel ntv and DUP UNTERNEHMER. The aim is to recognize sustainable commitment by companies and organizations in its diverse forms and in different areas. The patron of the award is Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister

The focus of the award is on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations in the areas of people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnership (SDGs). The aim is to make sustainable commitment visible at all levels - from micro-enterprises to associations and initiatives to large corporations - and thus inspire other companies and institutions to start sustainable projects.

The award for particularly good sustainability projects should not only affect companies that already have a comprehensive sustainability concept in many areas. Companies that take individual steps towards sustainability, are involved in selected fields and implement high-impact projects are also recognized as part of this award.

Companies and organizations with special sustainability projects were called for nominations via a comprehensive approach to associations, agencies and other multipliers, as well as a public appeal to readers in the DUP UNTERNEHMER magazine including a supplement in the Handelsblatt. All 202 nominees then received a standardized questionnaire to collect detailed data on the effectiveness and benefits of the project, the degree of innovation, the timeliness and the relevance for the core business and the industry.

On this basis, a high-caliber jury from business, science and the media, chaired by Yvonne Zwick (Chair of BAUM eV), evaluated the submissions. The best-rated projects in 24 categories were awarded prizes. Depending on the category/number of projects submitted, up to three other prize winners were chosen in addition to the first place. In total, the jury honored 49 companies and organizations for their sustainability projects.
